The Villain isn't such a Villain after all!

The Chief Executive Officer, Sam Lain supported Staplehurst SPAR's charity week this week. He spent most of today in the store, raising funds for NSPCC and the Retail Trust but with a twist!

The CEO was dressed as the dark lord from Harry Potter, as the staff set themselves a theme for this charity week, which was Hero's vs Villain's. It was a successful day for the store and Mr Lain scared a few customers as they came into the store.

They have raised a substantial amount of money so far, but they still need support. If you would like to support pop down to the Staplehurst SPAR store today and donate your change.

K College - FE Music Gig

Sam Lain our Chief Executive attended the Further Education Music Gig at K College tonight. The gig featured Level 2 and 3 learner studying at K College in Music covering a variety of music genres.

Sam said "The standard of talent at the event was remarkable and the dedication the staff and learners have to the performance is incredible".

"The event was crowded with family, friends and supporters of the young aspiring musicians and the experience the learners receive from doing events like this is valuable".

K College is one of Lain and Rose Community Interest Company's partners and they provide the Company with the facilities to hold some of our events. The College has campuses in five key locations; Ashford, Dover, Folkestone, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells and has 18,000 learners across these campuses.

Why not study at K College? Their next open day is 10th November 2012.
